TwinStrata Raises $8 Million For Cloud Storage, Backup Solutions

TwinStrata, which offers cloud-based data storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions, this morning announced that it has secured $8 million in a Series B round of funding led by Avalon Ventures. The company will use the fresh capital to ramp up sales and marketing efforts for its CloudArray solution. TwinStrata's CloudArray cloud storage gateway connects customers' applications and backup infrastructure to the cloud, enabling them to store, and recover data instantly to any location.
