Tub Drain Kit VS Whirlpool Drain Kit - Plumbing - DIY Home ...

I'm sure this is a very simple question, but I haven't been able to find an answer. I was hoping one of you pro's could help me out.

What is the difference between tub drain kit and a whirlpool drain kit? I'm installing a new whirlpool tub in my bathroom, and When I look at the two kits side by side in the store I cannot tell the difference. The tub drain kit costs significantly less, will it work just as good?

Any advice?
